
“Hello, I am Petar! I hold a Master’s degree in Biomedical Imaging from the University of Turku, Finland, and I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Research . My research focuses on investigating effect of cold acclimation on metabolism, particularly NAD-related metabolic pathways, in humans with obesity. Beyond these areas, I am passionate about histology, microscopy, molecular biology, and image analysis, which allow me to explore metabolism from the molecular to the whole-body level.“
Petar is registered in the Doctoral Programme in Clinical Research at the University of Turku, Finland. His doctoral research is supervised by Adjunct Prof. Mueez U-DIn and Prof. Kirsi A. Virtanen.
