“Hi, I am Olivia! I hold a bachelor’s degree in cell and molecular bioscience from Åbo Akademi University (ÅAU). I am currently pursuing my masters degree in biochemistry and will graduate in the spring of 2026 from ÅAU. My masters thesis focuses on investigating the impact of cold acclimation on systemic NAD+ metabolism and adipose tissue remodeling in human adults. The goal is to establish a biochemical connection between brown and white adipose tissue, and to elucidate what role NAD+ plays in this.”
